Do you struggle to communicate with your parents and feel like they never listen to what you have to say?

  • The Parent-Teen Mediation program helps you have a relationship that supports both you and your parent.

  • A mediator is a neutral third party who sits down with you and your parent, and helps you have an organized conversation about what is happening in your lives and in your house.

Are you a young mom trying to finish your high school education?

  • Brooks Young Mom Program offers                 moms the opportunity to attend classes while their children are cared for in a daycare located     on-site at Brooks School.

  • Family support is also provided to the family, with short and long term goals set by the parent.

Do you need support and guidance in making the transition to independent living?

  • The Independent Living Support                  Program provides practical support and skills training to youth who are making the transition to independent living and adulthood.

  • Individualized support is offered to youth in areas of nutrition, housing, budgeting, self-care, social development and vocational planning.

There are other Services for Youth offered around Powell River. Click on the link for a list of numbers you can call.
